Varigotti is a little seafaring village characterized by typical pastel houses of Saracenic origin built directly on the beach. Its golden sand and clear sea are dominated by Crena spit, whose beach has been recently included among the most fascinating places in the Mediterranean. It is situated on the West Riviera midway between Genoa and Sanremo and enjoys a unique climate sheltered by Malpasso sea-cliff and Le Manie plateau. Its oldest centre is situated by Crena spit, from where it is possible to observe the fishermen village with its typical terrace dwelling dating from XIV Century,

the rests of a Byzantine fortification destroyed by Genoa Republic in 1341 and - on the East- the small Saint Lorenzo Church dating from the early Middle Ages. Varigotti is the ideal destination for those who look for a relaxation holiday but not only, its mild climate allows to practice outdoor activities all year round. For that reason it is one of the preferred places by sportsmen. The practised activities are a lot: running, trail-running, Nordic- walking, trekking, mountain biking, freeride, enduro, road-bike, climbing, golf, tennis, horse-riding, windsurf, sailing, diving.
